Dr. Pepper's long standing strapline "What's the worst that can happen?" helped to develop the concept of the Dr. Pepper Sound Machine. This was a purely experiential promotion item and ran for only 2 months. The sound machine would encourage customers to come and press the button and a good song or a bad song would play. In this game of chance, what's the worst that can happen.
